The Ryukyu Islands joined the World Health Organization's anti-malaria campaign. These two stamps were issued April 7, 1962.

  • 3 cents- mosquito (Anopheles hyrcanus sinensis)
  • 8 cents- Shurei Gate and malaria eradication emblem
